Kent Online, the popular news website was due a redesign so it's increasing mobile device audience could be served a responsive user experience. New, easier to use mobile navigation was a big focus on this need for a redesign.

All pages were made responsive to enable easy viewing on mobile and tablet devices, important as more traffic was driven from social media sites such as Facebook on phones and iPads. Mobile navigation was improved to try and get users to explore more of the site and read more stories once directed on to the site from social media platforms. A "popular stories tab" was created to help drive more page views to other areas of the site. The overall styling and layout of stories was improved to make the site more readable
